Shingle roofs are one of the most common types of roof in the country. Over time, shingles lose the granules and become delaminated due to weather and time. They can also become weaker and potentially fly off during harsh weather like wind or thunderstorms. During a shingle re roof we tear off the existing shingles and underlayment with new synthetic underlayment or 15# felt. We only use architectural shingles as the old 3 tab style has become obsolete.

Whether you want just a re roof or new tile, we can get it done for you! There are many types of tile such as concrete, clay, and sand cast. Re roofs can include installing new underlayment, new battens, new drip edge and bird stop or eave riser, weather blocking, and mud balls, depending on your type of tile. If you have broken tiles during re roofing, we will replace the broken ones with new tiles to match the existing as much as possible. For new installations, the house must be built to handle tiles, as tiles are much heavier than every other type of roof.

Roof leaks unfortunately happen to a lot of us. We can assess the damaged area of the roof and fix what needs to be. Common causes include poorly sealed flashings, clogged valleys and channels, and exposed seams, nails, etc. Most of the time, the wood from which the leak was from is rotten and must be replaced with new wood.
